The newly signed Sydney FC midfielder, Moroccan Ouahim, recently discussed his reasons for coming to play in Australia during an interview.
Ouahim stated, “The A-League is not just about players coming here to see out the twilight of their careers, or simply enjoy a nice time because Sydney is a beautiful city. I think players can really progress here.
The training facilities are fantastic, and the staff are very professional. I’ve only been here for three days, but I can see that they put in 110% every day to make the players better.
I believe if you really want to be a good player, you can come to the A-League to improve your skills, and even use it as a stepping stone in your career.
“If people think that players coming to the A-League are just here to retire, I think that’s wrong. That’s not the right mindset, absolutely not.”
