Official: Sho Nakamura Returns to Nagoya Grampus After Loan Spell

On July 11, Nagoya Grampus officially announced the return of Sho Nakamura following the completion of his loan spell.

Nakamura, currently 27 years old, is a product of Waseda University and has previously played for Nagoya Grampus and Kashima Antlers. In January 2023, Nakamura joined Casa Pia on loan. During his one-and-a-half seasons at Casa Pia, he made 54 appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.

Due to Casa Pia’s inability to secure a permanent transfer for Nakamura, the player opted to return to Nagoya Grampus this summer. In his previous stint with Nagoya Grampus, Nakamura featured in 160 matches, during which he scored 13 goals and provided 17 assists. On the international stage, Nakamura has represented Japan in 14 matches, scoring 5 goals and contributing 4 assists.
