Scaloni: Hope for Copa America Final Free of Violence

In the pre-match press conference, Argentina’s head coach Lionel Scaloni called for a Copa America final free from violent incidents.

Due to an unsavory incident following the Uruguay vs Colombia match, security concerns have been heightened ahead of the final.

Speaking on the matter, Scaloni said, “I hope that fans can enjoy a grand party. Beyond the joy of winning the title, I believe they should also enjoy the pleasure of football.”

“We’ve already talked with the players before the game, urging them to set a good example. But honestly, if something similar happens again, I believe everyone would react in the same way. I hope it doesn’t repeat. Right now, I don’t know who is responsible, but seeing your loved ones in danger must feel utterly hopeless.”
