On July 31, Bayern Munich officially announced that Chinese goalkeeper Liu Shaozyang has completed a permanent transfer to Austrian second division side SV Horn.
The official statement from FC Bayern Munich reads: “We hereby announce that Liu Shaozyang will complete a permanent transfer to SV Horn in Austria. We wish you all the best for your future and continued success!”
Liu Shaozyang, currently 20 years old, came through the youth ranks at Wuhan Three Towns and joined Bayern Munich II in December 2021. In subsequent seasons, Liu was loaned out by Bayern to several Austrian clubs for further development, including Kärnten, Grazer AK, and Liefering. Last season, Liu made 13 appearances for Liefering in the Austrian third division.
This time around, Liu Shaozyang leaves Bayern on a permanent basis to join SV Horn in the Austrian second division, where the team finished eighth last season.
