On August 2, Neymar, who currently plays for the Saudi team Al-Hilal, recently spoke about his injury issues.
Since tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus, Neymar has been out of action since last October. On social media, Neymar said, “After suffering this injury, some days have been very tough, there are times when I want to give up, all these experiences have been difficult.”
“But I am a fighter and will not stop until I get what I want. God is my strength, and we will continue to fight every day.”
Since joining Al-Hilal in January 2023, Neymar has only made five appearances for the team, scoring one goal and providing three assists. Neymar is close to recovery, and Al-Hilal coach Jorge Jesus confirmed that Neymar is expected to return to the field in mid-September.
