On July 19, the Chinese Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee officially announced a penalty for China League Two team Shaanxi United, imposing a one-match stadium ban and a fine of 50,000 yuan.
Following their League Two match in round 16 where Shaanxi United lost 1-2 at home to Langfang City of Honor, there was an incident involving a large number of home fans surrounding and throwing beverage bottles and other objects at the vehicle carrying the visiting players.
The Chinese Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee has now banned Shaanxi United’s home stadium for one match and fined the club 50,000 yuan.
