According to The Athletic, Liverpool have rejected a £15m bid from Southampton for Carvalho.
Southampton made an official offer, which was swiftly rejected by Liverpool. Currently, Liverpool are not willing to let the player leave and their valuation of him is significantly higher than £15m. Due to Carvalho’s impressive performance in the pre-season, new manager Sloot will continue to give the player playing time, and it is expected that Carvalho will get opportunities on the left flank and in the number ten position in the new season.
