Yesterday’s friendly match saw Serie A giants AC Milan draw 1-1 with Austrian team FK Austria Wien.
After the game, AC Milan’s coach Fonseca commented on the team’s performance, stating, “This was our first game, and the opponents were a team that had already completed their pre-season preparations, showing a significant difference in fitness levels.”
Fonseca said, “At the start, we had some bright moments, but we lacked consistency. However, our players don’t yet fully understand each other. I prefer to do what we have trained for; physically it was indeed tough, but we’ve only just begun.”
He then added, “The players need to build connections, and communication is crucial. I hope everyone can display this kind of leadership, and I hope they understand the game and read it correctly. I believe they are starting to get it.”
