The K League 2 club FC Seoulnam officially announced that the team has terminated its contract with head coach Choi Cheol-Woo due to health reasons.
In their official statement, FC Seoulnam mentioned that Choi Cheol-Woo recently expressed that due to his health issues, it would be difficult for him to continue leading the team. The club respected this decision and, after mutual agreement, the contract was terminated.
Choi Cheol-Woo took over FC Seoulnam in May of this year and led the team through 20 league matches, achieving 5 wins, 4 draws, and 11 losses. He also helped the team reach the quarterfinals of the Korean FA Cup.
Currently, in the K League 2 standings, FC Seoulnam has 20 points and is temporarily in 12th place. The team is currently on a seven-match winless streak. In their next league match, they will be visiting Chungbuk Cheongju.
