Recently, the president of Real Sociedad, Jokin Aperribay, denied in an interview with the media that the club has received any bids for Takefusa Kubo.
Aperribay told Mundo Deportivo: “To be honest, we have not engaged in any transfer talks regarding Takefusa Kubo with any club. We are in the transfer market and anything can happen, but Takefusa is very happy here and will continue to stay at the club. We love him a lot and hope he remains with Real Sociedad forever.”
According to reports, Takefusa Kubo’s contract with Real Sociedad includes a €60 million buyout clause, and the club would only be willing to let him go if they receive the buyout fee.
