According to Sky Sport Italia, if first-choice goalkeeper Ederson leaves for the Saudi league this summer, Manchester City may opt to sign PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Previous reports suggested that Manchester City’s Ederson is keen on taking the next step in his career by moving to the Saudi league from the Premier League this summer. He had reportedly reached a personal agreement with Al-Nassr at one point, but the transfer did not go through. Now, he has started talks with another Saudi team, Al-Ittihad Jeddah.
In light of this, it has been reported that Manchester City might choose to sign PSG’s first-choice goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, to replace Ederson. Donnarumma has also been a regular starter for the Italian national team and has put in impressive performances in two European Championship tournaments.
