Former Japanese international Kayoko Honda has signed a one-match contract with Bhutan’s record holder Paro Football Club.
This marks Kayoko Honda’s return to official competition for the first time since 2021. As an experienced former international player, Honda will face the Nepal Church Boys United on August 13th in a match for AFC Challenge League qualification.
This is also the tenth country in which Kayoko Honda will play during his career. Honda has represented the Japanese national team in three World Cups and has played for clubs in several countries.
