Purwah Red Diamonds Official: Veteran Shinzo Koroki to Retire at the End of the Season

On July 31, Purwah Red Diamonds announced that veteran Shinzo Koroki, aged 38, will hang up his boots at the end of this season.

Koroki started his career at Kashima Antlers and joined Purwah Red Diamonds in 2013. In 2022, he also played for Sapporo Gonzado on loan.

Since joining the team, Koroki has made a total of 418 appearances for Purwah Red Diamonds, scoring 156 goals and providing 32 assists, helping the team win the AFC Champions League twice, the Emperor’s Cup twice, and the J.League Cup once.
