On July 18, Real Madrid announced that they have extended their contract with Vázquez until 2025.
The 33-year-old Vázquez has spent a significant amount of time in Real Madrid’s youth system and, after gaining experience at Espanyol, eventually became a member of Real Madrid’s first team.
Vázquez has made 349 appearances for Real Madrid to date, scoring 36 goals and providing 65 assists. He has helped the team win five Champions League titles, three Club World Cup titles, four La Liga titles, and one Copa del Rey title.
