On August 2, Juventus officially announced that young player Leonardo Cherì has joined Serie B club Carrarese on loan.
The forward, born in 2003, extended his contract with Juventus until 2027 and will be loaned to Carrarese until June 30, 2025.
This Rome-born forward is one of the many young players developed by the Juventus youth system. He transferred to Juventus from Pescara in 2019, initially joining the U17 team before advancing to the U19 squad and eventually establishing himself in Juventus’ Primavera side: he made a total of 61 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists.
Last season, due to the absences of Vlahović and Kean, Cherì was given the opportunity for his first-team debut: he was called up for the Serie A home match against Udinese on February 12, 2024, and came on in the final six minutes of the game.
The Juventus announcement reads: In the upcoming season, Cherì will embark on a new adventure at Carrarese. Good luck, Cherì!
