Yesterday, the Olympic judo events concluded at the Champ de Mars Arena in Paris.
In the mixed team event, reigning champions France, after being pushed to the brink by Japan, staged a strong comeback to clinch the gold. After the match, Nasser, the president of Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), expressed his admiration for the judo team.
Nasser said, “I want to pay tribute to the French judo team for winning a great Olympic gold medal, including three athletes from Paris Saint-Germain: Marie-Eve Gahié, Romane Dicko, and the legendary Teddy Riner. Romane and Marie-Eve have once again established themselves among the world’s top judo athletes, while Teddy continues to add to his legendary career. The entire PSG family is incredibly proud of their remarkable achievement.”
