Women’s Trampoline Final: Zhu Xueying Fourth, No Title Defense; Hu Yicheng Regrets Mistake

On August 2, the women’s trampoline final at the Paris Olympics proceeded as scheduled, with Chinese athletes Zhu Xueying and Hu Yicheng participating. Unlike in the preliminaries, each competitor performed only one routine in the final.

Zhu Xueying, who performed second, scored 55.510 points, ranking her fourth on the field before Hu Yicheng’s turn, leaving her out of medal contention.

Hu Yicheng, the last to perform, unfortunately made a mistake and finished eighth.

The gold medal went to British athlete Paige, while the silver was taken by Belarusian athlete Bartsilovskaya competing as an individual, and the bronze by Canadian athlete Metoate.
