Manchester United have officially announced the signing of central defender Yalo from Lille.
United have signed Yalo until 2029, with an option to extend for a further year included in the contract.
It is understood that including various add-ons, the total transfer fee paid by United for Yalo could reach up to €70 million.
The 18-year-old Yalo joined Lille’s youth academy in 2017 and was promoted to the first team in 2022. He made a total of 60 appearances for Lille, helping the club finish fourth in Ligue 1 during the 23/24 season and securing a spot in the Champions League qualifying rounds.
