Lewandowski: Hopes to Score More Than 30 Goals This Season, Ideally Not Less Than 35

On September 3rd, Lewandowski set a target for the new season, hoping to score more than 30 goals, ideally not less than 35.

“Without a doubt, I hope to score more goals than last season. I want to exceed 30 goals, ideally surpassing 35. Of course, achieving this goal cannot be done without the support of my teammates, and I hope they can create more scoring opportunities for me.”

In this season, Lewandowski has continued his good form, contributing 4 goals and 1 assist in the first 4 rounds of La Liga, currently leading the top scorer list. In the previous 2023-24 season, Lewandowski played 49 games for Barcelona, scoring 26 goals and providing 9 assists, which was also his lowest goal tally in a personal season since 2015-16.

From the 2015-16 season until the 2021-22 season, Lewandowski scored 40+ goals for seven consecutive seasons. Among these, in the 2019-20 season, he contributed 55 goals and 10 assists, which is also his personal highest goal record in his career.
