On August 17th, recently, the promoted EFL team Ipswich shared a video on social media showcasing the extensive renovations to their home stadium, Portman Road, following their consecutive promotions to the top flight.

This summer, in preparation for the Premier League, Ipswich has brought in several new signings including record-breaking transfer fee striker Hutchinson, midfielder Phillips on loan from Manchester City, and five others. Meanwhile, the board has focused on renovating the team’s home ground, constructing new restrooms for players, safe standing areas and glass barriers for fans, as well as a waiting bar for supporters.

The most innovative feature is that Ipswich will be refurbishing the referees’ changing rooms, providing separate rest spaces for male and female officials, complete with massage facilities. It is also reported that a dedicated lounge for players’ family members will be established.

At 19:30 on August 17th, Ipswich will host their first Premier League match at home against Liverpool, led by Sloot. Let’s look forward to how the promoted team performs in the new season.
