Marseille has officially confirmed the loan signing of Everton forward Neal Maupay.
It is understood that Maupay’s loan period will be for one season, and the contract includes a mandatory buyout clause of 4 million euros. Maupay will sign with Marseille until 2028.
In 2022, Maupay transferred from Brighton to Everton for a transfer fee of 12 million euros. Last season, he was loaned out to Brentford, making a total of 31 appearances for the Bees and contributing 8 goals and 3 assists.
