According to today’s report by the French media L’Equipe, the dispute between Mbappe and PSG continues, as he is now demanding 55 million euros in overdue salary from his former club.
It is understood that after leaving PSG, there remains a dispute between Mbappe and the club’s management regarding the outstanding salary. This amount includes the final one-third of the signing bonus that Mbappe was supposed to receive in late February, approximately 36 million euros, as well as the salary and ‘loyalty bonus’ due to him from April to June, which together amount to approximately 55 million euros.
L’Equipe previously reported that Mbappe’s agent had already issued an official demand for payment to PSG in mid-June local time. However, this did not receive a response. Now, Mbappe hopes to resolve this matter quickly, so he has decided to appeal to the legal committee of the French Professional Football League and has also submitted an application to FIFA through the French Football Federation.
