Recently, Como coach Fabregas spoke about the future of Liverpool forward Salah.
Salah has entered the final year of his contract, and according to the Egyptian forward, there are currently no signs of renewal negotiations with the club.
Fabregas said, “If you are Salah, you would think about what I have done for the club in the past eight years. How much I have won, how much I contribute every week, and how consistent I am. Players are somewhat selfish at times, including myself. He wants to know what will happen next, and once he makes that statement, it shows that he has thought carefully about what he wants to say.”
“I believe Salah is telling the truth, I don’t know if he is pressuring Liverpool to give him a new contract, maybe he is. My view may not entirely match the actual situation, but based on my understanding of Salah, he is sending this message because he really feels that this is his last year, and he will leave next year. Starting from January 1st next year, he can pre-sign with any foreign club.”
