Romano: Liverpool Signs 16-Year-Old Wolves Academy Defender Alvin Ayman for £2 Million

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has signed 16-year-old academy defender Alvin Ayman from Wolves.

Alvin Ayman only transferred from Brentford to the Wolves academy last season and holds dual English & Egyptian nationality. He is a highly regarded prospect within the industry. Last season, he spent considerable time playing for the Wolves U18 team, and also made two appearances for the U21 youth team, advancing beyond his age group.

According to Romano, Liverpool will pay Wolves a youth development compensation fee of £2 million for Ayman, after which they will sign him to a five-year contract. As a result, the 16-year-old Ayman is set to become Liverpool’s first transfer acquisition of the summer.
