According to journalist Wang Tao, the sons of two former national team players, Yang Xu and Sun Ke, are now playing at a youth training institution in Japan.
Wang Tao wrote on social media: “In Yokohama, an hour’s drive from Tokyo, there is a youth training institution that has won the Japanese elementary school league championship. Now, several students in grades five and six have been selected by clubs such as Kawasaki Frontale and Machida Zelvia. The sons of former national team players Yang Xu and Sun Ke are also training at this club.”
Additionally, he added: “These two brothers could have continued playing for another two years, but in order for their sons to receive higher-level training, they moved their entire family to Japan. Their current life revolves entirely around their children’s training while also learning about Japan’s youth training content. Time flies; I’ve interviewed them many times over the years, and now I’m interviewing their children. I look forward to the future.”
