August 24 According to the latest report from the British transfer news outlet Team Talk, Saudi Arabia has not given up on pursuing Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah. The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia plans to offer a 2+1 contract during the winter window and sign the Egyptian forward for free next summer. The annual salary offered by Saudi Arabia is as high as $1.5 billion, which is on par with that of Neymar, the forward for Al-Nassr in Riyadh.

It is known that last year, Saudi Arabia had offered Liverpool £1.5 billion to buy Salah, but the transfer did not materialize; this summer, Salah confirmed his stay at the club and contributed a goal and an assist in the first round of the Premier League, helping his team secure a good start.

The media reports that Saudi Arabia has not abandoned its pursuit of Salah. PIF is now planning to explore the possibility of reaching a pre-contract agreement with him between January and February next year. If an agreement is reached, Salah will join one of the biggest clubs in the Saudi Professional League after his term at Liverpool ends.

PIF is preparing a massive contract spanning two years, with an option for a one-year extension. Salah will receive a huge salary, equivalent to what Neymar currently earns at Al-Nassr in Riyadh.

The Union of Jeddah, under the PIF, is very interested in bringing in this Egyptian forward, while Salah also has the option to choose between joining Al-Nassr in Riyadh, Al-Hilal in Riyadh, and Al-Ittihad of Jeddah.
