Bochum has officially announced that they have loaned Croatian central defender Jakov Metkovic from Ajax. The loan period is for one season, until June 30, 2025, and includes a buyout clause. This 25-year-old central defender’s contract with Ajax will continue until June 30, 2028.
Metkovic is very familiar with German football, having previously played for Nuremberg, Wiesbaden, and St. Pauli, moving from St. Pauli to Ajax in August 2023.
