Matrazzi: I Feared Milan More With Maldini, Hope He Doesn't Go Back

Former Italian international and Inter Milan legend Matrazzi recently spoke about his old rival, former Milan captain Maldini, in an interview. He stated that he feared AC Milan more when Maldini was there.

Matrazzi said, “Yes, I feared Milan more during Paolo Maldini’s time because I know how much he cares for Milan and how hard he works. He left with dignity because he couldn’t do what he wanted to do there, and I hope he doesn’t go back, hahaha.”

Paolo Maldini entered the Milan first team in July 1985, playing 901 games for the team, scoring 33 goals, and providing 43 assists, making him the player with the most appearances in Milan’s history.
