The 33-year-old Portuguese defender Rui has yet to make an appearance for Napoli this season and has even been unable to train with the team, instead training alone. This summer, he rejected offers from several teams, including Galatasaray, choosing to stay with the club, but he is no longer part of Conte’s plans.

Rui has now requested the federation’s intervention, asking to return to the team and train with the main squad. The player has also conveyed this wish to the club, and if not resolved, he may take legal action against Napoli.
