About this match

Jordi: Tomorrow’s match is a great opportunity for us to repay our debt to the fans and bring them the joy of three points. Of course, the match won’t be easy, as the opponent is also very strong, but we hope to bring happiness to the fans at home.

With no wins in the last six matches, are you and the team feeling any pressure?

Jordi: We have an even stronger desire to win.

Given the incomplete squad, will you give Wang Yudong more opportunities?

Jordi: (laughs) Are you his agent? We do need to adjust our existing players to their best state. We are missing many players in the AFC Cup, which we knew from the beginning. We will field the bravest and most eager-to-win players.

The previous losses by the two Shanghai teams were attributed to fitness issues; how does Zhejiang plan to address this?

Jordi: Perhaps it’s best to ask the coaches and players of the two Shanghai teams if they really lost due to fitness issues. Having coached in China for so many years, I believe there must be other reasons (for the losses). Our players are well-rested, and this is not an issue for us.
