Head Coach of Real Sociedad Responds to Becker’s Altercation with Fans at Nightclub: He Knows He Was Wrong and Has Publicly Apologized

At the pre-match press conference for the first round of the Europa League, where Real Sociedad is set to face Nice as visitors, the head coach of Real Sociedad, Imanol Alguacil, responded to the incident involving the team’s forward, Becker, who had a physical altercation and argument with fans outside a nightclub. The coach stated that the player has acknowledged his mistake and has made a public apology.

Regarding the start of the new season of the Europa League, Imanol Alguacil expressed that this is a brand new format and a brand new competition, and that Real Sociedad will put on a good performance. As for the opponent, Nice, Alguacil praised them highly, “The opponent is very strong, they have excellent players, it will be a challenge for us.”
