Man City Move to Hijack Manchester United and Arsenal's Target: Seeking to Sign Yurumand to Replace Injured Rodri

After Rodri suffered a serious injury, according to reports from football365, Manchester City are keeping an eye on Sporting CP midfielder Yurumand, hoping to use him as a replacement for Rodri. However, both Manchester United and Arsenal were previously in contention for Yurumand, and Yurumand is a die-hard Arsenal fan.

Although Manchester City have not yet confirmed the duration of Rodri’s absence, media reports suggest that Rodri is likely to miss the rest of the season, which would be a huge blow to Manchester City. Therefore, Manchester City now need to find a replacement for Rodri, with the aim of signing him during the winter transfer window.

It is understood that Manchester City have set their sights on Danish midfielder Yurumand, but Manchester United and Arsenal had already started pursuing Yurumand, and made an offer of £50 million. With Manchester City entering the fray, the destination of Yurumand is likely to become uncertain once again.

Yurumand has also stated publicly that he is open to playing in the Premier League, as long as the team pursuing him can reach an agreement with Sporting CP on the transfer fee. He is not too concerned about personal terms. However, Yurumand is a die-hard Arsenal fan, even having the Arsenal badge tattooed on his body.

In addition to multiple Premier League teams, there are reports that Barcelona also hope to secure Yurumand, but compared to Manchester City, Barcelona’s financial situation makes them less competitive.
