Tottenham Sets Premier League Record: Most Times Conceding a Two-Goal Lead and Losing

In the seventh round of the Premier League, Tottenham, after leading 2-0, conceded three goals in 18 minutes in the second half and was eventually overturned by Brighton with a score of 3-2.

After being overturned by Brighton with a score of 3-2, Tottenham missed the chance for a three-game winning streak in the league. Their last three consecutive wins were in December 2023.

According to statistics, this is the tenth time Tottenham has lost a Premier League game after leading by two or more goals, making them the first club to reach double digits, at least three times more than any other team in history.

On the other hand, this is also the second consecutive time that Tottenham has lost to Brighton after scoring two goals. The last time they faced Brighton was in December 2023, when Tottenham lost 2-4 to Brighton away from home.
