AFC Champions League Elite Round Attendance: Shanghai Shenhua Tops East Asia, Pakhtakor Tashkent at the Bottom

On September 20, Zhu Yi of Transfermarkt announced the attendance figures for the first round of the AFC Champions League Elite Round.

Among them, the match between Shanghai Shenhua and Pohang Steelers had an attendance of 23,849 spectators, the highest in East Asia. The match between Shandong Taishan and Central Coast Mariners saw 16,896 spectators, while the game between Shanghai Port and Johor Darul Ta’zim attracted 12,533 spectators to the stadium.

The highest attendance for this round was 29,270 for the match between Baghdad Police and Al-Nassr, while the lowest was 3,750 for the match between Pakhtakor Tashkent and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Dubai.
