Today, Ronaldo shared some snippets from his interview with Ferdinand on his personal social media, during which he talked about his planned retirement life.
When asked about when he plans to retire, Ronaldo said: “I think what I will miss the most is that adrenaline rush on the field, and the excitement, all of which are things I can control well off the field. I have great people around me, and I now have a good income, but if I leave the field, that passion will no longer exist, and that’s why I choose to continue playing.”
“I am always told by others that your age is no longer suitable for playing football, but that’s why I need to maintain my physical condition and extend my career as much as possible because I know that in the next two or three years, I may still be able to create something new.”
Regarding life after retirement, Ronaldo said: “Will I miss the field? Of course, I will miss it, and I might even feel a bit lost, but I won’t cry over this for the rest of my life. I have other things to do. My life will face a new chapter, which is the business side, and this is also very exciting for me because learning a field I don’t understand is a huge challenge. In this field, there are smart people everywhere, I am smart in the field of football, but I still have a lot to learn in the business world.”
