Giovanni Albanese, the Juventus correspondent for La Gazzetta dello Sport, confirmed that Brazilian central defender Bremer of Juventus will face a long-term absence after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Albanese explained, “Juventus is worried that Bremer may be out for a long time due to a serious ACL injury. Meanwhile, another injured player, Gonzales, has a minor thigh muscle injury and is expected to return after the international break.”
Di Marzio also reported, “Juventus’ performance in the Champions League match against Leipzig was excellent, both in terms of results and performance, even when they had to play with ten men. After Sesko scored twice, putting Juventus behind 1-2, they were further disadvantaged by the red card to Di Gregorio, but managed to turn the game around thanks to goals from Vlahovic and Konsa Junior. However, on the negative side, Bremer injured his knee after colliding with Openda, while Nico Gonzales suffered a muscle problem. The day after the match, three players—Arthur, Bremer, and Gonzales—visited the Juventus medical center. Gonzales had his thigh wrapped in bandages and had difficulty moving, while Bremer could only move with crutches and assistance from staff.”
