Recently, there were media reports suggesting that Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek was interested in signing free agent Ramos. However, these reports were subsequently denied by Ramos’s agent. Nonetheless, Zamalek’s Vice President, Ali Hisam Nasr, recently confirmed in an interview that the club is indeed in contact with Ramos.
Ali Hisam Nasr stated: “The club is currently in discussions with Ramos. This would be an investment and also promising from a sporting perspective; signing Ramos would significantly enhance the club’s prestige. We are working on the financial arrangements and aiming to reach a final agreement on salary with Ramos. Once this is accomplished, the club will officially sign Ramos.”
