The UK media outlet Team Talk has exclusively reported that sources have revealed Chelsea is willing to sell winger Mykhailo Mudryk during the winter transfer window, with Olympique de Marseille interested in bringing the player in on loan.
The report indicates that Mudryk joined Chelsea for over £80 million, but his playing time has been inconsistent. From the first few matches of the new season, it appears he has not yet adapted to Marco Maresca’s system. As Mudryk himself hopes to secure more consistent playing time, both the player and the club are open to making changes during the winter window.
In January this year, Bayern Munich attempted to secure a loan deal for Mudryk, but their interest cooled after the appointment of Vincent Kompany. Currently, the most likely destination for Mudryk is Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1, as Igor Tudor holds Mudryk in high regard. It is expected that Marseille will formally submit a loan offer during the winter window, seeking to bring in Mudryk.
