Juventus confirmed that following this morning’s medical examination, Bremer was diagnosed with a left ACL tear. He will undergo surgery and be out of action for an extended period. Additionally, the team’s attacker, Nico González, sustained a mild injury to his right quadriceps femoris muscle.

Bremer’s injury occurred during last night’s Champions League match against Leipzig. Starting as captain, he severely twisted his knee after a few minutes in a challenge with Openda and was subsequently taken off the field by the medical staff. Nico González also had to leave the game due to injury.

Prior to this, Juventus forward Milik had just undergone surgery for a meniscus tear in his left knee. The absences of Bremer and González will now further strain the squad’s resources.
