Multiple media outlets, including Tuttomercato and Sky Sport Italia, have confirmed that Juventus will hold a retirement ceremony for their meritorious goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny during tonight’s home game against Napoli.
This summer, Szczesny reached an agreement with Juventus to terminate his contract early, subsequently announcing his official retirement from the pitch. Over the course of his seven seasons with Juventus, Szczesny helped the team secure three Serie A titles, three Italian Cups, and two Italian Super Cups.
Tonight, Szczesny will return to the Allianz Stadium to watch the key match between Juventus and Napoli in person, and he will also take a lap around the stadium to bid farewell to Juventus fans during the retirement ceremony.
