In the early hours of October 2, Chelsea player Reece James posted a training photo on social media along with the caption “See you soon.”
The 24-year-old Reece James was promoted to Chelsea’s first team in July 2019 and has since made 158 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 22 assists. However, last season was marred by injuries for James, limiting him to just 11 appearances. Despite attempts to return in the latter part of the season, his injuries kept him out of England’s Euro 2024 squad.
Since then, Reece James has been part of Chelsea’s US tour, but his hamstring injury has kept him sidelined. Since the start of the season, he has been spotted on the training ground and in the gym. However, Maresca will not rush his return, given Malo Gusto’s excellent performance in the right-back position.
