Inzaghi: The Only Mistake Was Not Taking More Clear-Cut Chances; We Should Have Scored More Goals

In the sixth round of the Serie A league, Frattesi scored the first goal, Lautaro scored twice, and Inter Milan narrowly won 3-2 away against Udinese. After the match, Inter’s head coach Inzaghi gave an interview to the media.

Inzaghi said, “Our players all performed exceptionally well. I am very satisfied and congratulate them. Our only mistake was not taking more clear-cut chances, and then we conceded a goal when we should have cleared better, but we did not lose focus.”

Last season, throughout the Serie A season, Inter Milan only conceded four headers, but this season they have already conceded three. Inzaghi said, “Without a doubt, this is an area we need to improve. We must clear the penalty area earlier, stop crosses, and occupy space better.”
