Shearer believes that the top-of-the-table clash on the weekend will end amicably, “If you give Arsenal a point at Manchester City’s home ground, like they did last season, they would be happy with it. They just need to maintain an unbeaten record away from home. Arsenal excels defensively, and they have the best defense in the Premier League.”

Shearer thinks that the key matchup in this game will be between Saliba and Haaland, “The confrontation between Saliba and Haaland is what I’m most looking forward to, the world’s best defender against the world’s best striker. Although both teams have established a leading foundation at the beginning of the season, a draw is an acceptable result for both sides.”

Regarding other matches, Shearer believes that Manchester United and Newcastle are unlikely to win away from home, “Facing Crystal Palace and Fulham away, the outcome is likely to be a draw. However, Liverpool returning home will recover from the shock of last week’s upset by Nottingham Forest.”
