Georgia’s star player Kvaratskhelia has stated in an interview that, despite being debutants at the Euros, they are not simply participating for the sake of it.
In an interview with UEFA’s official website, KK said, “We are absolutely not here just to participate. We can compete against any team; this is a dream for all Georgians, and we hope to leave our mark in the tournament.”
“The team is very focused, and I believe we can beat Turkey. We have young players as well as experienced veterans, and we are a great squad,” KK expressed his confidence in Georgia’s future prospects.
