Belgian club Anderlecht officially announced that the team’s manager Rimer has been relieved of his duties.

The 45-year-old Rimer took over Anderlecht officially in December 2022, leading the team in a total of 76 matches with a record of 39 wins, 20 draws, and 17 losses. Last season, Rimer led Anderlecht to finish third in the Belgian Pro League and advance to the Europa League proper.

In the past three league rounds, Anderlecht managed only two draws and one loss. Following yesterday’s 0-2 home defeat against Genk, the team decided to change managers, with assistant coach David Hubert temporarily taking over as interim head coach of the first team.
