On October 5, Boca Juniors announced that they have extended their contract with veteran striker Edinson Cavani until the end of 2026.
The 37-year-old Cavani joined Boca Juniors last summer and has since made 43 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals. His original contract was set to expire on December 31, 2023.
