Western United FC has officially announced the signing of defender Tate Russell from Western Sydney Wanderers.
Russell, 24, joined the Western Sydney Wanderers’ youth setup at a young age and made his first-team debut in 2018. He has since made 86 appearances for the club, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists.
The defender has agreed to a two-year contract with Western United and is set to replace Rhys Williams, who left the club this summer, as the starting right-back for the new season.
