In the 10th round of the 2024 Liga MX season, following the match between Club America and Pumas UNAM, some regrettable violent incidents occurred both inside the stadium and on the surrounding streets, involving fans from both teams.
In response to this situation, the following control measures were implemented:
18 individuals were expelled for their involvement in fights and for disrupting order.
The Mexico City Secretary of Citizen Security is investigating the violent incidents that took place outside the stadium among fans. Since becoming aware of these incidents, Liga MX has maintained contact with the relevant authorities in the states.
