Brentford Manager on Euros: Hoping Denmark Wins, But Also Supporting England's Title Bid

Thomas Frank, Brentford’s manager, recently gave an exclusive interview to the club where he shared his thoughts on the Euros. As a Dane and a Premier League boss, Frank expressed his desire for either Denmark or England to lift the trophy.

Speaking about the match against England, Frank said, “Of course, I hope Denmark can win this fixture, but I believe England will progress and go all the way. The chances of Denmark defeating England are slim, and sincerely, I wish England all the best in their pursuit of the title.”

Commenting on his role as a BBC commentator during the tournament, Frank remarked, “It’s interesting, and I’ll certainly watch some games. In some years, I’ve watched every match, but maybe not this time around. However, I’ll still be closely following the Euros.”

Discussing his players participating in the Euros, Frank stated, “Whenever our players represent their countries, at any level, I wish them well, and that remains the case for this summer’s tournament.”

Frank himself has a history with the Danish national team, having played for Denmark’s U16, U17, and U19 teams. Several current Danish internationals have been under his tutelage. This year, Brentford will have seven players traveling to Germany for the Euros.

Denmark starts their campaign against Slovenia, followed by a clash with England in the second round.
