Naples defender Juan Jesus expressed his anger and fear on social media after thieves smashed his car window in an attempt to steal his vehicle. He declared that he no longer feels safe in the city.
Juan posted a video on Instagram showing the smashed rear window and the visibly ransacked interior of his car. In the caption, he mentioned that this attempted theft occurred after he had been followed for a month: “No sense of security at all. After being followed for almost a month, today they tried to steal my car. It feels terrible and makes me feel sick!”
He then posted a second Instagram update, explaining why he can no longer feel safe in Naples. He added: “What happened tonight is just the last straw. In the past month, I found as many as five AirTags (geolocation trackers) in my car. Just knowing that these criminals know where I live makes me uneasy. Unfortunately, in such a beautiful city, I will no longer feel safe. While material possessions are secondary, knowing that a stranger has violated my personal property really disgusts me.”
